Every Morning is Full of Possibility

When we wake up in the morning we not only start the day anew but have the opportunity to create new possibility for ourselves and the world.  The mornings are a time for true and pure creation.  What I focus on at that moment starts to create purpose and direction for my life at that moment.  The mornings are a new beginning for us in so many ways.

When I wake up at 4 am every morning I take a moment to begin to intention my day.  The intention I create at that moment sets the stage for much of what will take place throughout my day.  It is about choosing what I will take on from that point forward, will begin to generate and do so until I got to sleep at night.  The creation of possibility in the morning is very powerful.

Take a moment upon arising to intention your day, to say with your word what you will begin to create for yourself and even others.  Once your start to think and say what you want to have happen you begin to attract that into your life.  Again, your word, spoken or written, will determine the journey of your life.

Our Word Matters. Our Word Creates our Experiences.

Always be aware or present to your thoughts and word.  While we sometimes can not control our thoughts and thinking, we can with respect to our word, to what we say and put out into the world.  Our word creates our experiences.  What we say is important. Our word reflects who we are in the world.  We are truly responsible for our word.  Our word does matter.

Our word creates either a positive or a negative experience for us.  For the most part, many people are not aware of the power that our word, our language, has for us.  We do not get that we create our world, our life, our experiences from our word.  We believe that things just happen to us.  We tend to believe that we are the effect of life.  However, we are the cause of life and it is in our word, what we say, that is causing our life to be the way it is appearing for us.

When we finally get this we can start to change or transform our life.  The key to our own personal transformation is with that which created it the way it is now appearing.  When we get it we get that we have the key to our own transformation, that we have always had it.  People, places and things are not the cause of our life.  It is the language, the words that we express every moment of the day that is creating our life and experiences.  This is the fundamental reason why using positive affirmations can truly transform our life.

Remember, every thought we think and every word we say is an affirmation.  Take a look at your experiences and what you say, say to others and to yourself.  Is this how your want your life to continue to be?  If not then take on transforming your language and the words your actually say, to others and yourself.  If you consistently work on using positive affirmations to change your word it will eventually change your thoughts and thinking.  You will be amazed if you do this with the true commitment and intention of altering your experiences how your life will be.  True happiness rests within your word, it truly does matter.

The Final Component of Holistic Counseling

The final component of the Holistic Counseling is the use and practice of acknowledgement.  Once the negative experience has been transformed and the breakdown has been resolved it is important for a person to fully understand the difference of what his doing this work and creating a possibility has made for himself.  Acknowledgement is about getting how the created possibility has transformed the breakdown from what it was to that which is truly a breakthrough for the individual.  Acknowledgement is about getting the power of our word and thoughts for allowing us to transform breakdowns into breakthroughs, to once again become our possibilities, to be what we truly want in and from life.  It is this acknowledgement that strengthens the process of transformation thereby leaving ones sense of power restored.  Acknowledgement is about standing in ones possibility, celebrating ones power and freedom and in the process having given up being a victim.  Acknowledgement is about beginning to live life from ones possibility and not from the experience of being in the breakdown.

Three Principles of the Daily Homework.

What follows are the first three principles of the Daily Homework.  Bringing them into your life will help to transform you, to transform your life and way of being.
1. To take complete ownership and responsibility for your life. Understand that you have created and chosen your life the way it is occurring. You are the cause of what you experience and your life.
2. Watch your word! Stay present to what you think and say. Choose to say positive things about yourself and others. What you think and say creates your experiences of how life will occur and be for you.
3. Practice your Self Affirmations and Possibilities everyday. Say your Self Affirmations and Possibilities in the morning, throughout the day and before bedtime.

Ten Principles for Transformation in Recovery.

The ten principles listed below can be of assistance to a person who is in recovery.  While they are not to be confused as the actual work in recovery they will provide a frame or structure from which to do recovery.
1. To take complete ownership and responsibility for your life. Understand that you have created and chosen your life the way it is occurring. You are the cause of what you experience and your life.
2. Watch your word! Stay present to what you think and say. Choose to say positive things about yourself and others. What you think and say creates your experiences of how life will occur and be for you.
3. Practice your Self Affirmations and Possibilities everyday. Say your Self Affirmations and Possibilities in the morning, throughout the day and before bedtime.
4. What is your Intention? Plan your Intention each morning upon awakening and stay present to it throughout the day. What are you committed to today? What are you committed to now? What is it that you want to create in your life? What is it that you want to create now?
5. Develop your RECOVERY PLAN. Plan your work. Your RECOVERY PLAN is about your life. Your RECOVERY PLAN is about your Integrity. Integrity is the bottom line. Are you in integrity with your RECOVERY PLAN. Are you in Integrity with your life?
6. Develop your DAILY ACTION PLAN. Work your plan. Do it everyday! Your DAILY ACTION PLAN is about your commitment and integrity with respect to your RECOVERY PLAN. Your DAILY ACTION PLAN is about fulfilling on your intention and commitments. Your DAILY ACTION PLAN is about keeping your RECOVERY PLAN in existence!
7. Acknowledge yourself and others daily. Acknowledge the miracles in your life. Practice affirming that every moment of your life is a miracle.
8. Practice patience! Remember that you are doing the best you can. At the moment that we do we do the best we can. When you know more, you will do things differently. Do this in regards to others too.
9. Share with others what you are getting out of your recovery.
10. STAY HUNGRY FOR YOUR RECOVERY!

The Work of Generating Positive Language and Words.

The work of transformation is about creating a new life, about creating a new self.  This self, as we know, exists in language.  Who we are is our thought, our beliefs and what we say, our Word.  To transform, to alter our existence has to be done on the level of our Word, what we say and put out into the world, as that is what will come back to us, what will show up as our experience.

This work that I refer to is exactly that, work.  At first the work will be merely an idea that we are contemplating, not necessarily doing.  Then we will take on doing it, saying positive words, putting them out into the world.  Shortly after we generate positive words we will probably go back to what we did in the past.  The tendency in the beginning of the transformation is to keep what we have in existence, to not give it up immediately.  It is only through constant staying with this work of generating positive language, of continuing to generate positive words, even when we go back to being negative, that the work actually starts to happen, that actually starts to show up in our life.

Daily Homework – Four Principles to Transform your life.

There are ten principles to the Daily Homework.  Presented here are the first four:

Watch your word as you create your experiences.

Watch your word!  Stay present to what you think and especially what you say.  Choose to say positive things about yourself and about others.  What you think and say creates your experiences of how life will be and occur for you.  If I say and say positive things there will be a tendency for positive experiences to be created.  If I say negative things there will be a tendency for negative experiences to be created.  I do have a choice in this matter.  In addition, saying positive things about myself and others feels good, saying negative things does not.  It all starts with my word, what I say.  What I say is what I put out into the world, and being that which directly affects my behavior, my actions tend to be in alignment with what I am saying, my word.
