Self Discovery through Holistic Counseling.

Becoming aware of that which has been hidden most of his life, to that which has been truly determining his very being in life, allows one the opportunity to change his life. Once one gets who he has been being in life, the second component of the holistic process is for the individual to begin to create his life as a possibility. Once the understanding of the self-limiting belief is realized, the individual is now able to truly create a new possibility for himself and his life.  Getting the self-limiting belief creates the space or an opening for a possibility or even possibilities to be created not as a result or product of the internal barrier but from or out of nothing.  It is only from knowing that which has limited us that possibility can truly be created.  As with the self-limiting belief, possibility exists in language.  Once one gets the language that he has been being, that has defined and limited him through being his self-limiting belief, it is at this point that he can begin to recreate himself through the power of his word. Who we are is our word.  In is in ones language or word that one has access to changing his life, and creating possibility and change for himself.

Positive Affirmations for helping with Forgiveness.

Positive affirmations work if we use them daily.  Positive affirmations help us to change or transform our thinking, to take us out of negative space and thereby assist us in creating a positive space in which to be.

Positive affirmations for Forgiveness:

1.  I joyously release the past.  I am at peace.

2.  I forgive others and I set myself free from them.

3.  I forgive and I let go of the past.

4.  I am forgiving.  I forgive.  I forgive others.  I forgive myself.

5.  I forgive myself and I set myself free from the past.

6.  I accept others for how they are and how they are not.

7.  I forgive myself completely, let go of the past and choose to live in the present moment.

8.  The past is over.  I live life in the present moment.

9.  I love and accept myself exactly as I am now.

Taking suggestions is one of the keys to recovery and transforming your life.

Our tendency is to continue in the direction that we are headed.  Our tendency is to continue in the direction that we are headed unless something happens that will create a necessity to alter our chosen path.  Once we pause to contemplate the direction that we are headed and begin to consider a possibility our life we do enter a space of true change and transformation.  For us to utilize the insight that is generated from this space will require that we seek the assistance of another person, of another human being.  If we do not seek the assistance of another person our tendency will be to get back into the habitual way of being from which we came, that created our current life situation.  This requires that we communicate with another person and allow that individual to help direct us, to assist us in our journey.  No recovery or transformation takes place unless we communicate with another human being.  To gain the benefits of this communication requires that we take suggestions from another human being.
