Louise Hay has said that forgiveness is very powerful.  Forgiveness allows you to simply let go of the past.  Forgiveness is not saying that something or someone was right, just that you are done with having it or them in your life the way that they have been there.  Forgiveness allows you to let go of your attachment to the past.  The following Positive Affirmations can help you to create forgiveness in your life.

Below are some notes that I took while watching Louise Hay’s movie, You Can Heal Your Life.

Our inner conversation is very important.

Thoughts are not a reflection of what is happening to us.

Our thoughts are creating our experiences.

Our thoughts creat our future.

You become what you think about.

Change from negative to positive thinking will make all the difference.

Our source is inside, not outside us.

You can rewire patterns in the brain by changing our thoughts.

Change your thinking and you can change your life.

The gateway to wisdom and knowledge is always open to you.

I can change.

Paying attention to what you are saying gives you access to what your point of attraction truly is.

Open up spiritually.

Care about how you feel and create your happiness.

Anything you complain about constantly is something you have an unconscious desire to produce.

Loving the self is the key.

Focus on being healthy, not on fixing what is wrong or broken.

A Life designed around fixing it.

When we are born we are, as Louise Hay says, perfect, whole and complete. Nothing is wrong with us or the world.  As we start to move through life, living it, we create that something is not right, that something is wrong, about others, life and especially about ourself.  We create a life built, at least on the face of it, upon me not being good enough.  As Hay also states, the “innermost belief for everyone I have worked with is always, I’m not good enough.”

For that point from which we created the core of our identity, our life took on how to go about fixing it, fixing the “I’m not good enough.”  Our life will sometimes appear as a struggle, a struggle to fix ourselves.  We believe and feel that we should be better, that we need to improve our life, that we must make ourselves better.  To be enough I have to do things, lots of things sometimes, and I have to have things, as much as possible, the more the better.  The point is that for me to improve and be better I have to have something outside of myself to fix me.

My life is designed, at this point, around fixing my life.  I have lost the I am perfect, whole and complete attitude and perception about myself and life.  To get that back, I must begin with that which helped to create it in the first place, my language, my very word.  It is from my word, what I say, that I will create my life.

Using Affirmations to Transform your life.

Louise Hay has written and spoken about the power of positive affirmations for years.  She believes that using positive affirmations consistently will change and transform your life.  While their transformative power is being confirmed and utilized more and more, using positive affirmations can also be difficult and even frustrating.  For some, after a period of using positive affirmation they sometimes experience resistance to their continued use.  What happens is that the positive affirmation are in conflict, sometimes direct conflict, to the thoughts and beliefs that the person has in their mind.  Many of these thoughts, ideas and beliefs have to do with what the person believes to be about themselves as a person, who they are in life.  In essence, ones identity gets calls into question, gets confronted and it is from the confrontation that ones experiences a sense of frustration and with it, creates a tendency to avoid and move after from and even stop the use of positive affirmation.  It is at this point that one has possibility of a breakthrough in their life, that is, if they are able to push through the resistance and stick with their use.  Sticking with the use of positive affirmations over an extended period of time can transform your life, can transform even who you believe yourself to be in the world.
