New Project being created for Transformation and Recovery.
Jul 28th
One of the projects that I have long thought about doing is to read and compare, possibly with the intention of writing something at some point, the Big Book and maybe even Basic Text, with authors such as Louise Hay, Wayne Dyer, E. Tolle, Don Miguel Ruiz, Donald Walsh, and Dan Millman. The intention would not be to rewrite recovery but merely to explore and discover other resources that could assist a person in his or her recovery and ultimately his or her transformation. The Big Book is a very powerful writing and the authors mentioned above have a profound message for the transformation of the world and life itself.
The intention of a study group like what I am creating, as it nows move closer to realization, would also be to report or comment on what is discovered and to do so in this blog. I am now in the process of creating the study group, so to speak, and then after the process begins, to write about it here. I would also invite others to join in, to write and make comments on the blogs which they believe are relevant to the purpose of the project.
Part of my commitment and intention out of this project will be to not only share that which is discovered, the knowledge and insights, but to convert that understanding into something practical, something that can be used by others, to be of service to all of mankind.
Daily Homework – Two Principles for your Transformation in Recovery
Jul 25th
Below are two more Principles of the Daily Homework for transforming your life, especially for those in recovery.
1. Develop your Recovery plan. Plan your work with your sponsor and therapist. Your Recovery Plan is about your life. Your Recovery Plan is about your integrity. Integrity is the bottom line. Are you in integrity with your Recovery Plan? Are you in integrity with your life? Without a Recovery Plan much of life may not be lived the way that you want.
2. Develop your Daily Action Plan. Work your plan and be held accountable to your sponsor and therapist. Do your Daily Action Plan everyday. Your Daily Action Plan is about your commitment and integrity with respect to your Recovery Plan. Your Daily Action Plan is about fulfilling on your intention and commitments. Your Daily Action Plan is about keeping your Recovery Plan in existence.
Commitment is key to transforming your life.

Staying committed to changing your life is so important. Commitment is key to transforming your life. Once we decide what we have to change in our life, in our way of being, to be different, we make the changes in how we do life. But to keep the transformation in place takes a great deal of commitment, commitment to staying the course, to staying present to the path, to not give up when the course appears problematic and doubt appears. Changing our life usually also involves creating a structure or routine that will enable the transformation to evolve or emerge. Staying present to and committed to the structure or schedule will enable us to continue altering our life. It is inside a structure, schedule or routine that we will change our life, to create new habits from which to live differently and more authentically.
